Let Peace Prevail In This World.......

Righteous God, you have taught us that the poor shall have your kingdom, and that the gentle minded shall inherit the earth. Help the Church to identify with the poor and use the resources at its disposal with responsibility and accountability. Save your Church from vain display or lavish comforts, so that we, as we move through the world may show your generous love made known in Jesus Christ our Lord, who is our role model, and now lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, world without end. AMEN

Almighty and gracious Lord who has taught us that true spirituality is not based on material things of the world, but in true relationship with God until eternity; we pray that we may be helped to be truly spiritual and inherit the eternal promises: through Jesus Christ out Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and ever. AMEN

Almighty and everliving God, you have given us grace, by our confession of faith, to acknowledge and worship the eternal Trinity in the majesty of unity. Keep
us steadfast in this faith and worship, and bring us at last to see You in your eternal glory, through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives, and reigns with you
and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and ever. AMEN.

O God, your Spirit has come to us, your people, to make us your children. Give us a taste of heaven here on earth, help us to be united together in him and to live in his power as your witness to all people, through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the same Spirit, one God, now and for ever. AMEN

Almighty God, you have exalted Jesus Christ and made him Lord of all. Give us faith and courage to understand his promise to be present with his Church on earth, until the end of ages and rejoice in his presence, through the same one who now lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. AMEN.

O heavenly Lord, you sent your Son to reconcile us to yourself and make us partakers in your divine life; grant us your blessing to abide in his love that we may keep his commandments and bear fruits for your glory; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives, and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and ever. AMEN

Dear Heavenly Father,

Thank you for this life, for the gift of love, and the blessing of our marriage. We give you praise for the joy you've poured into our hearts through this love, for the contentment of family, and the happiness of our home. May we always treasure the experience of loving each other in this holy union. Help us to remain forever committed to our vows, those we made to each other, and to you, Lord.

We will need your strength daily Lord, as we live together with the goal of following and serving you. Develop within is us the character of your Son, Jesus, that we might love each other with the love he demonstrated—with patience, respect, understanding, honesty, forgiveness and kindness.

Let us always be a support to one another—a friend to listen and encourage, a refuge from the storm, and most importantly, a warrior in prayer.

Holy Spirit, guide us through the difficult moments of life and comfort us in our grief. May our lives together bring glory to you, our Savior, and testify of your love.

Almighty God, who enlightened your holy Church through the inspired witness of your evangelist Saint Mark: grant that we, being firmly grounded in the truth of the Gospel, may be faithful to its teaching both in word and deed; through Jesus Christ your Son our Lord, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, now and ever. HOly God, Creator of all, from scripture the risen Christ taught us of his death, resurrection, and ascension into your glorious presence. May the living Lord breathe on us his peace, that our eyes may be opened to recognize him in breaking bread and to follow wherever he leads, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, world withour end. AMEN

O God, the Lord of Lords who has chosen to empty yourself of all but love; and demonstrated your humility and obedience by entering into the city of peace, riding on a donkey. Give us grace, that we humble ourselves in service and witness: so that we may be the channels of your peace, through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Hold Spirit, one God, world without end. AMEN

Almighty God, you sent Jesus Christ to proclaim your kingdom and to teach with authority. Anoint us with your Spirit, that we too may bring good news to the poor, bind up the broken-hearted, and proclaim liberty to the captive; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. AMEN

Almighty God, who created human beings in the likeness of your image, which having been distorted through our transgressions was reconciled through the atonement of your son, grant that we may experience this restoration in our lives too, through Jesus Christ our Lord who lives, and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, world without end. "May today there be peace within; may you trust God that you are exactly where you are meant to be. May you not forget the infinite possibilities that are born of faith; may you use those gifts that you have received, and pass on the love that has been given to you. May you be content knowing you are a child of God; let this presence settle into your bones, and allow your soul the freedom to sing, dance, praise and love. Mighty and merciful God, you sent Jesus Christ to heal broken lives.
We praise you that today you send healing through doctors and nurses,
and bless us with advances in medicine.
We claim your promises of wholeness as we pray for those who are
ill in body or mind, who long for your healing touch.
Make the weak strong, the sick healthy, the broken whole,
and confirm those who serve them as agents of your love.
Then all shall be renewed with vigor to point to the risen Christ,
who conquered death that we might live eternally, through the same Lord,
who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit,
one God, world without end. AMEN.

Forgive me, O God, for all the times when I was a trouble and nuisance to people today.

   For times when I was stubborn and obstinate;
   For times when I was careless and forgetful;
   For times when I was selfish and unhelpful;
   For times when I was far slower to learn than I need have been;
   For times when I was late and kept people waiting;
   For times when I argued when I should have kept quiet;
   For times when I got in the way, and hindered people and kept them back;
   For times when I made things unpleasant when I did get my own way.
Help me from now on always to make things easier
   and not more difficult for the people with whom
   I live and work, and to help people on the way
   instead of getting in their way.

O God, thank you for making me as I am.

O Lord Jesus Christ our God, the true and living way, be thou.
O Master, my companion, guide and guardian during my journey;

O God our heavenly Father, who lovest mankind, and art most merciful and compassionate, have mercy upon thy servants for whom I humbly pray thee, and commend to thy gracious care and protection.
Be thou, O God, their guide and guardian in all their endeavors, lead them in the path of thy truth, and draw them nearer to thee, that they may lead a godly and righteous life in thy love and fear; doing thy will in all things.
Give them grace that they may be temperate, industrious, diligent, devout and charitable.
Defend them against the assaults of the enemy, and grant them wisdom and strength to resist all temptation and corruption of this life; and direct them in the way of salvation, through the merits of thy Son, our Saviour Jesus Christ, and the intercessions of his Holy Mother and thy blessed saints. God of truth and love;
Father Son and Holy Spirit, Hear our prayer for those who do not know You.
We ask that they may come to a saving knowledge of the truth and that Your Name may be praised among all peoples of the world.
Sustain, inspire and enlighten Your servants who bring them the Gospel.
Bring fresh vigor to wavering faith; sustain our faith when it is still fragile. Continually renew missionary zeal in ourselves and in the Church;
raise up new missionaries who will follow You to the ends of the world Make us witnesses to Your goodness; full of love, strength and faith – for Your glory and the salvation of the entire world.

We thank Thee, Master and Lover of mankind,
King of the ages and giver of all good things,
for destroying the dividing wall of enmity and
granting peace to those who seek thy mercy.
We appeal to Thee to awaken the longing for a peaceful life in all those who are filled with hatred for their neighbors,
thinking especially of those at war or preparing for war.
Grant peace to thy servants.
Implant in them the fear of Thee and confirm in them love one for another. Extinguish every dispute and banish all temptations to disagreement.
For Thou art our peace and to Thee we ascribe glory: to the
